TM Electronics, Inc. manufactures leak testers, gas leak
detectors, mass flow leak testers and testers for custom applications.
We also provide non-destructive leak test systems for closed
products and sealed packages. TME leak testing products meet
needs in the medical, pharmaceutical, food processing, automotive,
and appliance markets.
Customer Education
We at TME feel that an educated customer working together
with a specialist in leak and flow testing will produce the
leak test design most appropriate for the product or package.
To help us communicate with you and better understand your
needs, we've provided a variety of informative papers and
discussions on the subject of leak science, including:
- A Glossary of terms related
to leak testers, pressure decay leak testing, and mass flow
occlusion testing;
- A thorough overview of Pressure Decay Leak Testing, including
a look at the fundamental equations that will help to define
your leak test;
- Information on non-destructive testing of closed products
or sealed, non-porous packages and how TME can help you
to design a custom test system to non-destructively test
your product or package.
For those who would really like to "get into" Leak, Flow and Package Testing, TME offers Leak, Flow and Package Testing 101. This mini-course will give you an understanding of basic concepts such as leak testing versus package testing, leak rates and leak limits, pressure decay versus vacuum decay leak testers, and the value of consensus standards and ASTM test methods. Non-Destructive Leak Testers and Test Systems from TME
Test Systems for Accessible Parts: TM Electronics designs custom test systems for non-destructive pressure or vacuum decay leak testing of products that can be accessed. The TME Solution multi-port leak tester is combined with a custom-designed test fixture to provide in-process leak testing. Systems can be designed to be semi-automated and to test up to four test items concurrently or sequentially and report individual test results. Fixtures can be made to accommodate rigid test parts with multiple outlets to atmosphere using custom sealing techniques to provide fast, repeatable, accurate leak test results, returning the good parts to the assembly line.

Test Systems for Closed, Flexible Products or Packages: The TME Solution-C Non-Destructive Package Tester is ideal for leak tests on closed products or sealed non-porous packages with its closed chamber pressure or vacuum decay test. Holes as small as 5 to 10 microns can be detected in pre-formed lidded trays, blister cards or pouches of common package materials including films, foils and laminates, or in closed products or parts such as (applications data). In-process leak testing will detect leaks from pinholes, cracks, seal and channel leaks without disrupting your production, and the TME Solution-C Leak Tester provides the same high resolution, repeatability and statistical analysis for process control as the TME Solution.
